Fraud and Stealing -- Not Identity Theft
In today's Boston Globe, Hiawatha Bray suggests a lock on credit reports to prevent theives from using one's credit to steal. Bray's suggestion is along the same line of thinking I outlined in a letter to my congressmen a few days back. Naturally I'm going to forward Bray's article to them. But I need to do it soon before I can't get it from the Globe's Web site.

This Blog started in one direction, as something called "Everything's a Blogument," a pun on an argument textbook my company publishes called Everything's an Argument, but my habit with this blog isn't really about blogs and how they interconnect. Instead, it's become a place to drop thoughts and short essays. Thus the title change.
